Take me back to oblivion

Take me back before it had begun

Let’s run and hide

Let’s run through the straps of memories

The blistered visions,

Let’s run through them

Bring me back to the day where the sky was blue

Crossed by an array of faded colors

Entrap me in that moment of-

Serenity

Let’s change time

Let’s go back and befriend me

Let me take you back

To the time before it had begun

Let me show you through-

The fast-forwarded emotions

Why weren’t you there?

A moment in time-

Barren and strewn

I just wish we could run and hide

I could no longer shed those leaves

The branches are too weary-

they're falling apart

I could no longer hold my roots

they've grown too weak and frail-

they're withering away

So why don’t you take me back,

take me back to where it all began

Why won't you take me back to oblivion?

Words

They tremble-

they fight and struggle across your lips

but the cracks widen-

they splinter too far apart

They keep swelling, and your mouth is bruised

they gather-

settling down at the edges of the parted lines

Your lips are sealed together

you could feel the fractures overwhelming-

the distorted shape of your heart

Pins and needles attack your brain

the pain strikes

the feathers and twigs pertained at your head fall off

discolored

you're battered, fragmented-

yet you refuse to speak them-

adhering to what is left of the bits and pieces of you

they keep rendering and sawing

still-

they're not spoken through those promised stitches

They think-

their gateway to your soul

those silver strucken eyes with muted air

Fatigue-

you're merely frail

clutching to the groove sound of life

yet they strike them-

they collect and gather their array of meanings

they dwell at the opposite sides of your eyes

they're fed by your lingers

the lashes warm them from the fragility of your soul

discolored

the words camouflage themselves in tears-

tears that draw eons and streams of meanings

tears and sentiments-

they're discolored.
